We are delighted to announce that we have developed a new work experience programme launching February 2025.
This opportunity is open to applicants aged between 15-17, and we have a maximum of five spaces available.

What to expect

You’ll get the opportunity to work across lots of different departments including; Manufacturing, Marketing, Health and Safety, and many more.

This programme consists of 4.5 days of industry placement, during which the work experience students will gain:

Pharmaxo Lab

Overview

A comprehensive overview of Pharmaxo.

Roles & Opportunities

Knowledge of the roles, opportunities and skills needed in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.

Practical Activities

Opportunities to complete fictional practical activities throughout the week to build their understanding of the work we perform.

Future Career Help

Personalised careers help and advice to support them with their onward journey.

When & Where?

The work experience opportunity in February takes place during February half term (17th – 21st February).

The work experience day starts at 09:00 and finishes at 16:00, allowing for a 1-hour lunch break at 12:00.

On the Friday, the placement concludes at 14:00.

Location

The placement will be held on-site at our offices in Corsham. Anybody applying should be able to attend the programme in full and have suitable transport options arranged as Pharmaxo cannot organise transport for delegates.

This placement will support people with an interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) subjects, people with an interest in a career in pharmaceutical manufacturing or research, pharmacy, or health and safety.

1. Why you would be a suitable candidate for work experience with specific reference to your behaviours demonstrating professionalism
2. Information on why you are interested in a placement in the pharmaceutical industry
3. A brief summary of what you know about Pharmaxo

We will use your personal statement to make decisions to offer places on the programme.
