Pharmaxo Healthcare has been recognised at the 2026 Moondance Cancer Awards, receiving the Collaborating with Partners Award alongside its partner Cardiff and Vale University Health Board for its work improving cancer care across Wales.
The award recognises the Delivering Myeloma Treatment at Home initiative, which enables eligible patients to self-administer treatment in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes – reducing the need for hospital visits and supporting greater independence during care.
The recognition reflects the commitment of Pharmaxo Healthcare’s teams and partners to delivering patient-centred care and expanding access to treatment closer to home.
“We are incredibly proud to receive this recognition alongside our partners at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board,” said Pharmaxo’s Chief Commercial Officer Alison Davis.
“This initiative demonstrates the power of collaboration and innovation in transforming how care is delivered – helping patients maintain independence while accessing high-quality treatment closer to home. As we celebrate this achievement, we must ask ourselves: how can we go further, faster, to make services like this the standard rather than the exception?”
