At Pharmaxo, sustainability is integral to how we deliver care. Guided by Icon Group’s global vision, our approach brings together environmental, social and governance commitments through three clear areas of focus: care for patients, care for people and care for the planet.
Care for patients
We’re committed to improving access to high-quality, specialist care. This includes ensuring the safe, reliable delivery of medicines, supporting healthcare providers, and developing services that help meet growing patient demand.
By strengthening healthcare capacity and creating more flexible ways to deliver treatment, we help ensure patients receive the care they need, when and where they need it.
Beyond the workplace, we’re proud to support the communities around us through volunteering, charitable partnerships and staff-led fundraising initiatives.
One of our valued community partnerships is with the Ben Saunders Foundation (BSF), a charity supporting children and young adults undergoing cancer treatment. Founded in 2020 by Bath teenager Ben Saunders after his diagnosis with sarcoma, BSF provides respite breaks and wellbeing support for young people and their families. Ben sadly passed away at 18, but his family continues his vision, turning loss into hope for others.
Dorothy House is another cherished community partnership supported by the Pharmaxo team. Dorothy House provides respite, crisis and end of life care to those who need it most in the community.
From on-site coffee purchases to team-led fundraising events, across the past year colleague-led initiatives helped the Ben Saunders Foundation and Dorothy House continue offering vital support and relief for young people facing cancer.
